academic work
role:
app designer
rationale
Scoop&Waddle is a family owned Ice Cream Parlour with many stores around Canada. A fun place for children and adults to come by and enjoy some ice cream. The project started out by creating a “Quadradius” logo concept by shaping a penguin from simple triangles, then expanding them and creating an app based on the company. I used the logo’s design language and expanded it even further into the app. I used a basic colour palette based on the Scoop&Waddle penguin for the app itself, and the different graphics, components, and features are all cohesive and integrated using the C.R.A.P. design principles. I made sure that each and every element has enough balance and negative space to ensure cleanliness of the logo and aesthetic value
process work
This project has been made possible due to the creation of sketches, wireframes, drafts, and prior research. Peer and professor feedback also helped a lot.
